In honor of Cinco de Mayo, I suggest that you pick up Gran Centenario’s latest 2009 release. The classic tequila producer began to distribute the world’s only hibiscus infused reposado tequila this past February. Each bottle is infused with the flowers then aged in port barrels for nearly 2 months in order to achieve its soft pink color. And of course, the tequila is made from 100% highland blue agave.
According to Gran Centenario, Roseangel features “a complex perfumed nose with ripe fruit and floral notes, plus hints of vanilla. The palate holds flavors of dried fruits, which leads to a smooth and gentle finish.”
