About Me

Hi! My name is Julia. I’m a proud INTJ with an MS in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University. This past summer, I relocated to Stamford, Connecticut from Richmond, Virginia – my happy home for about ten years. It’s a bit too cold in the Northeast for my liking and I’m desperately missing the South.

By day I dig through massive amounts of data in the corporate world so by night the right side of my brain is aching for a creative outlet. As such, I‘ve tried my best to maintain this here blog on a regular basis. Although my interests have varied heavily over the years, my love for food has always remained true – well, that and my love for Michael Fassbender.

This blog serves as a way for me to practice and shape up my cooking skills simply because it is my favorite hobby. Other hobbies (aka obsessions) include making (and mostly tasting) craft cocktails, playing Xbox One games, practicing power yoga, and taking in French culture via beginner French language courses.
